Lazio is now becoming accustomed to picking up close wins in both Serie A and Coppa Italia play. The Biancocelesti notched another such win in its league fixture against Sassuolo by a narrow 2-1 win. It was an impressive showing from Lazio against a top half of the table team.

As usual, when they mentally get rid of too many commitments, Lazio finds that continuity that is sometimes lacking.
In 10 minutes, Sassuolo managed to plot as they know how to do and managed to find the advantage, but slowly, the Biancocelesti organized themselves, as often happens, without necessarily wanting to dominate the field but went to command the match.
Lazio will now have a pair of fixtures upcoming against Atalanta, with one in the Coppa Italia quarterfinals and the other coming in Serie A.
