Lazio Negotiating With SC Braga for Brazilian Defender Bruno Viana

According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio are in talks with Portuguese Liga NOS side SC Braga to sign 25-year-old defender Bruno Viana this Winter Transfer Window.

Due to Luiz Felipe’s recent injury, which will keep him sidelined for the next few months, the Biancocelesti are in deesperate need of a reinforcement for their backline to fill in for the center-back’s absence.

In addition to FC Barcelona’s Jean-Clair Todibo, Napoli’s Nikola Maksimović, Juventus’ Daniele Rugani, AC Milan’s Mateo Musacchio and Arsenal’s Shkodran Mustafi, they have identified the Brazilian as another potential option.

Bruno Viana’s current contract with Braga runs until 30.06.2023 and they value the player at €10 million. As it stands, this valuation remains the only obstacle, as Lazio are trying to sign him on loan with an option to buy set at €6-7 million.
