The first half of the season is now complete. For Lazio, the side stands at seventh place in the Serie A table with 34 points over 19 fixtures. The Biancocelesti at one point had a ninth-place standing in the league table, but thanks to a recent winning streak, Simone Inzaghi’s side is back in serious contention for a top-four spot in the league table.

Former Italian defender Giancarlo Oddi is not very much pleased with how Lazio performed over the opening half of the league season considering that the side dropped points in pivotal fixtures.

Oddi reflected on Lazio’s opening 19 fixtures, with comments being relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.

We are at the halfway point, Lazio could have done more because they have lost so many important opportunities.

The fight at the top is in balance.

Lazio only stands at three points behind third-place side AS Roma.
