Journalist Sconcerti: “Lazio Have Scored in All but One of Their Games This Season”

Italian journalist Mario Sconcerti discussed the Serie A season so far and the title race in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

Since 2013 we have exceeded one thousand goals per season. One of the figures that counts is the number of games in which we go without scoring.

To win the league you can’t go more than four games without scoring. Today, Inter and Milan are in the lead, having gone just once without scoring, but there’s a surprise, which is Lazio, who have also only gone once without scoring.

The only Serie A game this season that Lazio haven’t score in was in their shocking 3-0 defeat to Sampdoria back in October, a game that star striker Ciro Immobile missed due to the late red card received against Inter the previous match.

The Biancocelesti have also scored in all their Champions League matches, as well as their win against Parma in the Coppa Italia last week.

The Roman club have scored 45 goals across all competitions so far this campaign, with Immobile scoring 18 of them.
