Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi discussed the Biancocelesti’s upcoming two games against Atalanta in an interview with Italian broadcaster Lazio Style Channel (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.
It will be a very busy week for us. Atalanta are the most in-form team in the league. I’ll have to assess the condition of the guys and tackle one match at a time.
Tomorrow will be important and I need to see how the guys are after the match against Sassuolo.
The 44-year-old Italian coach commented on if he’ll look to rotate the squad for the Coppa Italia match.
I’ll try to alternate my strengths between the Coppa Italia and the league. Some won’t be there because of injury, others because of suspension.
Tomorrow is a very important quarter-final.
Finally, Inzaghi spoke about Brazilian defender Luiz Felipe’s ankle injury and if a replacement will arrive.
We have this problem in defence. There’s a lot of synergy between Tare and myself.
A player will definitely come in to strengthen us.
