Over the past three fixtures, Lazio has been without midfielder Luis Alberto, the engine behind the Biancocelesti attack.
After an emergency appendectomy caused the Spain international to miss some time, he appears ready to game action, at least that’s what Alberto stated on Instagram.
Concentrated and working hard to face the rest of the season. Full speed ahead!
Before having to miss some time due to the procedure, Alberto had scored four goals in six fixtures, including a striker in the Derby della Capitale against AS Roma.
After a slow start to his 2020-21 season, Alberto began to round into form for Lazio, who also got out started sluggishly in Serie A. Nonetheless, the 28-year-old hitting his peak came at the right time for the Biancocelesti.
Lazio began inching closer towards the top four in the standings and gaining confidence with their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against FC Bayern Munich on the horizon.
With Alberto seemingly ready to go, supporters hope that he picks up where he left off. Lazio needs the midfielder to be at the top of his game if they want to find themselves in the top four and pull off the upset against the Bavarian club.
