After going up 2-0, Lazio looked to be in control of the fixture against Atalanta BC. However, substitute Mario Pašalić cut the Biancocelesti’s lead in half just before the 80th minute.
Rather than panicking and dropping points, Lazio held firm as they didn’t allow for the second goal from Atalanta to come. Instead, Lazio added an insurance strike courtesy of Vedat Muriqi, who came on as a substitute for Ciro Immobile.
