Lazio is currently riding a five-match winning streak for the first time in Serie A this season. Still, former Italian defender Luigi Cagni still wants to see more from the Biancocelesti with its performances.
Over this winning streak, Lazio has held on to clinch major wins over the likes of AS Roma and Atalanta. More so, the Biancocelesti has essentially willed its way back into the race for a top-four spot in the league table.
Still, this is not enough for Cagni. The former Genoa defender still wants to see continuity from the team.
Cagni provided his thoughts on Lazio’s current league campaign, with comments being relayed by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi.
We know Lazio, this is it. If they are well, they put anyone in difficulty. This was the problem after Covid, it has no continuity.
To win something you have to do more than a string of consecutive victories.
Lazio is within striking distance of a top-four spot in league play. The Biancocelesti would surely need to continue to extend this winning streak in order to finally reach the top four of the league table.
