Just days after completing his transfer move to Lazio, Mateo Musacchio made his debut for the team in its Serie A fixture against Atalanta.
Musacchio did not start the match but came in during the late stages of the first half for center-back Patric, who left the game with an injury.
Musacchio held his own during the match as he went on to record one tackle completed, one clearance logged and one ground duel won.
The Italian defender showed that he can play in a three-at-the-back defensive setup.
After the match, Musacchio provided his brief thoughts on the result via his Twitter account.

These kinds of performances can give manager Simone Inzaghi a signal that the new Lazio defender can become a regular contributor for the team. It will be interesting to see where Musacchio now stands in the depth chart following this showing.
