Lazio have officially announced that Italian midfielder Davide Di Gennaro has been sold to Serie C side Cesena in a statement last night.
The 32-year-old Italian attacking midfielder joined the Biancocelesti in 2017 from Cagliari, but never settled with the club, making only five appearances across all competitions in his three and a half years with the club.
He spent time with both Salernitana and Juve Stabia on loan but also failed to make an impact. Di Gennaro is now contracted to Cesena until the end of the season.
