Lazio have officially announced that Lazio Women coach Ashraf Seleman has been dismissed, with former striker Carolina Morace coming in to replace him, as announced in a statement last night.

The Biancocelesti are currently 4th in Serie B Women after 12 games, with 21 points. Seleman’s side had only won two of their last five games.

Former Italian striker Carolina Morace, who spent two years of her playing career with the Biancocelesti from 1987 to 1989, previously managed the Italian national team, Canada and AC Milan.

Her assistant will be Nicola Jane Williams, who was also her assistant at AC Milan and Trinidad and Tobago.
