Lazio Coach Simone Inzaghi Finally Expected to Sign Contract Renewal This Week

Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi is expected to sign a new contract this week, after much delay, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The report details how the contract offer for the 44-year-old Italian coach has been ready for some time now, and it was even suggested that last week would be the decisive week for the signing.

The offer is a three-year contract worth €2.4/2.5 million net per season, with add-ons ranging from €200 thousand to €400 thousand, related to a top six or top four finish.

Inzaghi did want around €3 million per season as a reward for his strong progress with the squad, but has decided to settle for president Claudio Lotito’s offer.

Small details are still being worked out, but Inzaghi is expected to finally sign his contract renewal this week.

The Italian coach has won one Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana with the club.
