Lazio defender Patric has been suspended for the Biancocelesti’s upcoming league clash against Cagliari for picking up five yellow cards, according to an official announcement by the club earlier today.
The report details how 27-year-old Spaniard Patric, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2022, picked up his fifth yellow card of the season in the 3-1 win over Atalanta on Sunday, and so will be suspended for Sunday’s match against Cagliari.

The Spanish defender has made 24 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1491 minutes. In that time, he has provided one assist and helped the side keep five clean sheets.
The official reason for Patric’s suspension was ‘misbehaving with an opponent’.
New arrival Mateo Musacchio also received a yellow card in the win, his first of the campaign.
