Former Lazio forward Ruben Sosa discussed his relationship with former coach Dino Zoff and the Biancocelesti’s current position in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

I have to tell a story about my relationship with Dino Zoff. During training, every now and then I would kick the ball into the goal with him and I must say that he saved almost all of them.

I got on very well with the coach, he was always calm, he knew what to do and he was never nervous. He’s a very intelligent man and I got on very well with him.

The 54-year-old Uruguayan then moved onto discussing Lazio’s current position.

I think Lazio are doing very well at the moment, they’re playing great football, they have a captain who never stops scoring, it’s a pleasure to watch them.
