Lazio have been linked with a move for Celtic talent Vincent Angelini, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.
The report details how the Biancocelesti, Atalanta, AC Milan, Juventus and a number of Premier League clubs are interested in signing the 17-year-old goalkeeper this summer after his contract expires with Scottish side Celtic.
However, as it stands, Manchester United are frontrunners to land him, according to StrettyNews.
Angelini is the grandson of Celtic legend and former Chelsea midfielder David Hay, and the son of Tommaso Angelini, who was on Lazio’s books as a youngster.
He signed his first professional contract just two years ago with The Bhoys; however, the teenager has no intention of renewing his contract with the club as he looks to play in the top flight of English or Italian football.
Angelini hares dual nationality with both Scotland and Italy but has already been called up to represent Italy’s U18.
