Lazio owned winger Bobby Adekanye discussed his loan move to Eredivisie side ADO Den Haag in an interview with Dutch media outlet Omroepwest.nl earlier today.
Am I really that good? I can’t say that myself! But I kick the ball well. I’ve tried to put myself at a pretty high level. I think it’s normal that people expect a lot from me.
If I play badly and there is criticism, I have to accept it. It’s my job. I’ve raised the bar myself and I have to always try to confirm myself.
I came here to help ADO, they don’t deserve to be in this position. ADO are a great club.
The 21-year-old Dutch winger, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2022, joined the Roman club from Liverpool in the summer of 2019 on a free transfer.
He spent the first half of this season on loan with Spanish side Cadiz CF, but failed to make an impact, making only five appearances across all competitions, for a total of 152 minutes.
