Fiorentina left back Cristiano Biraghi discussed this season’s title race and the Biancocelesti’s chances in an interview earlier today, as reported by Italian broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi).
The 28-year-old Italian full back, who is contracted to the Viola until 2024, was commenting on if he thought Antonio Conte’s Inter would win the league title this season.
That’s a very complicated question. On paper Inter are the strongest team along with Juventus. But Milan can go all the way, Roma and Napoli are there, and Lazio and Atalanta can surprise us.
Biraghi, who spent last season on loan with the Nerazzurri, has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 1876 minutes.
In that time, he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio will face Inter in 10 days’ time, on Valentine’s Day, in Milan.
