Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has been chosen as Serie A’s Most Valuable Player for the month of January, announced in a post on Twitter earlier today.
The 25-year-old Serbian midfielder, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2024, appeared in all eight of Lazio’s January fixtures, playing all but 41 available minutes.
In that time, he scored one goal and provided two assists, and has been an instrumental part of the Biancocelesti’s recent upswing in form.
Serie A announced his award on Twitter, saying:
