Lazio star Ciro Immobile’s agent Alessandro Moggi discussed his client and the work he’s doing with the Biancocelesti, as well as the ongoing season, in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Radio Marte (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

The best Italian striker today? A fairly obvious answer but I think Ciro Immobile is one of the best strikers in the world, not just Italian.

From the Italian media he has received much less than he objectively deserves, he is doing extraordinary things. Perhaps he is paying for the fact that in Italy we look for foreign players, an exotic name.

He has shown that he is the best Italian striker of the last 20 years. We are in the Top 5 in the history of Italian football and in the current world ranking.

Moggi then moved onto discussing the current season and the battle for the final Champions League qualification spot.

Fourth place and the Champions League are certainly very important. Today, with the pandemic still underway, it is even more important.

However, it is clear that the battle for fourth place will be even closer, also because the first three positions, in my opinion, will be Milan, Juventus and Inter.
