“One Day, I Would Like to Play for Real Madrid” – Sergej Milinković-Savić Teases Possible Move to Los Blancos in the Future

Over the last few summer transfer windows, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić has seen his name in various rumors. Nonetheless, no club has made a significant offer that would see the Serbia international depart the Biancocelesti

Despite remaining with Lazio through the transfer rumors and having a contract until 2024, it doesn’t mean that Milinković-Savić doesn’t think about going elsewhere.

In an interview with Serbian channel TV Nova (via Corriere dello Sport), the 25-year-old discussed his desire to play for one of the world’s biggest clubs, Real Madrid, or at the very least play against them. Milinković-Savić spoke about his dream to suit up for Los Blancos since he was a kid.

One day, I would like to play for Real Madrid. Hard work awaits us in the Champions League. I’m telling the truth, I wanted to play in Madrid against Real to exchange shirts. That said, I think we can have a great match against Bayern. I have dreamed of playing for Real Madrid since I was a child. This is the biggest goal of my career, and I will do everything to achieve it.

Currently, Real Madrid is going through an identity crisis after the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo. The Spanish club is linked to various players for their next era of Galáctico signingsNonetheless, if Real Madrid were to pursue Milinković-Savić, they’d have to come with a Brinks truck because it won’t be a cheap transfer purchase.
