Crotone midfielder Luca Cigarini discussed Lazio’s recent Serie A form, the title race and the Biancocelesti’s midfield in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

Lazio have all the cards needed to fight until the end. Maybe Inter and AC Milan have something more at the moment.

Lazio have spent a lot of energy in the Champions League, they have great maturity and for this reason they can aim for the Scudetto.

The 34-year-old Italian then moved onto discussing the Roman club’s midfield.

If it’s not the best in Serie A, it’s not far off. They have Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto, players that few have. Leiva in front of the defense is one of the best.

If it hadn’t been for Covid, they might have been able to challenge Juventus for the title last year. The Bianconeri and Inter have a midfield on Lazio’s level.

The 34-year-old Cigarini, who is contracted to Crotone until 2022, has made seven appearances across all competitions so far this season, for a total of 506 minutes.

In that time, he has scored one goal and provided one assist.
