Ex-Goalkeeper Simone Braglia: “Lazio Have One of the Best Squads in Serie A”

Former Perugia and Genoa goalkeeper Simone Braglia discussed the recent strong form of Lazio in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

From a squad point of view, Lazio have few players, but in terms of quality they are one of the best in our league.

Some results have not been brilliant, they have dropped points to aspire to something more than the Champions League.

The only moment of crisis was the badly managed case of Peruzzi. And the locker room suffered as a result. Lotito could have managed it better, the team lost a bit of serenity that cost them dearly.

Biancocelesti club manager Angelo Peruzzi had a falling out with president Claudio Lotito at the tail end of last year, with the 50-year-old Italian even missing a few games as a result.

Eventually the pair reconciled and he returned to work, but the squad’s results did dip a little in that period, potentially as a result.
