Lazio Women Goalkeeper Emma Guidi: “Draw Against Cittadella Was Undeserved”

Lazio Women goalkeeper Emma Guidi discussed the Biancocelesti’s disappointing 1-1 draw with Lady Granata Cittadella in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster Lazio Style Radio (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

Dynamics have been created that have penalized us also in the previous matches. The draw hurts and it didn’t give us the change in mood that the arrival of Carolina Morace had brought in the last week.

This week we have put the foundations back in place to build the season and to achieve our goal of returning to Serie A.

We started with a lot of courage, despite the bitterness of some previous results. It was a new beginning and I think our coach made us live all this with a lot of serenity. The draw was definitely undeserved.

The 24-year-old Italian shot stopper then touched on Serie B Women’s league and the table.

In this league no match is predictable and all the matches must be played. Not only does the strongest team win but also the one that knows how to interpret the match better.

The many draws make us think about what to improve in order to bring home those two more points that we are missing and that allow us to express our game at its best.

The coach will certainly be working on that and we will all try to challenge ourselves.

Standings? We’re looking at it but not with too much attention, at the moment it’s not representative.
