Lazio’s Ciro Immobile was once again the star for his side in a Serie A fixture. This time around, he scored his 14th league goal of the season during the Biancocelesti’s fixture against Cagliari. This goal also wound up being the game-winner in the 1-0 win for Lazio.
Immobile has now scored in an impressive 14 different league matches this season, which leads all Serie A players. As noted by the Twitter account Lazio Page, this puts him above the likes of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Andre Silva (12) and Paris Saint-Germain’s Kylian Mbappe (12).
However, Immobile does not lead Europe’s top five leagues in this stat as FC Bayern Munich’s Robert Lewandowski is the sole leader with 15.
Ciro #Immobile è andato a segno in 14 diverse partite di campionato: solo Lewandowski (15) ha fatto meglio in Europa
15 🇵🇱 Lewandowski
14 🇮🇹 Immobile

It is noteworthy that Immobile has not had one league match this season where he wound up notching a brace or a hat-trick. Still, Lazio would certainly much prefer to see him score on a regular game-by-game basis instead.
