Bundesliga side RB Leipzig are interested in signing Lazio sporting director Igli Tare in the summer, according to a report from Italian media outlet TuttoMercatoWeb earlier today.
The report details how the German side are looking for a high-profile sporting director to replace 40-year-old German Markus Krösche, who has been in the job since 2019.
Although nothing concrete has happened yet, RB Leipzig have put Tare at the top of their wish list, thanks to the strong work he has done with Lazio in recent seasons.
Tare has been the Biancocelesti’s sporting director since 2008, after his retirement as a player, and has a strong relationship with president Claudio Lotito.
More details are expected to emerge over the coming months, but for now, there has been no progress.
