Lazio carried on with its winning ways thanks to a 1-0 Serie A win over Cagliari. The Biancocelesti once again had put out a top showing in the attack and defense. And for the latter, Lazio defender Francesco Acerbi played a key role in making this happen.

As noted by the Italian-based outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi, Acerbi led the team in combined touches with 100.

Acerbi went on to also complete 80 passes in the match as he had his way in distributing possession from Lazio’s own defensive third. He also recorded 15 long balls, five clearances and two tackles won in the match.

The Italian defender continues to be one of Lazio’s more reliable players this season and an influential talent in its current six-match league winning streak.

Acerbi will be looking to put together another convincing performance in Lazio’s upcoming fixture against Inter Milan where a win could be a season-changing one for the side.
