Lazio is set to take on FC Bayern Munich in a monumental UEFA Champions League Round of 16 clash. This will be Lazio’s second appearance in the Champions League knockout stage and more so, the tie that will be one of its most notable challenges in recent seasons.
Former Italian midfielder Antonio Lopez is very much looking ahead to this tie between the two sides. Lopez sees Lazio as the underdogs in the tie but does believe that the Biancocelesti has the potential to pose a challenge to the Bundesliga powerhouse.

The match against Bayern is an attractive one. I put myself in the shoes of the players … facing such a team will certainly be a satisfaction. The Germans are aware that they are a very good match but at the same time, I believe that they will not underestimate Lazio.
