Lazio captain Senad Lulic could leave the club at the end of the season and retire after his contract expires with the Biancocelesti, according to a report from Italian newspaper Il Messaggero (via Calciomercato.com) earlier today.
The report details how the 35-year-old Bosnian midfielder’s contract expires with the Roman club at the end of this season, after 10 years with the club.

Despite his great relationship with the Lazio family and his importance to the team, Lulic may decide to retire at the end of the season and return to his family in Switzerland.
The 2013 Coppa Italia hero is still working on building his fitness after recovering from a series of ankle surgeries across the last 12 months, and has already made four appearances this campaign under coach Simone Inzaghi.
Lazio are set to offer a new contract to fellow veteran Stefan Radu, who has played a key role for Inzaghi this campaign.
