Lazio’s ongoing Serie A campaign has been filled with thrills and woes. From major victories over the likes of AS Roma to multiple winless streaks, Lazio’s up-and-down start has had the side take an arduous route in its journey to making its way back into contention for a top-four spot in the league table.
Former sports director Luciano Moggi has followed Lazio very closely this season and notes the team’s struggles earlier this season. Still, he is very much in appreciation of one aspect from the Biancocelsti.
Moggi touched a bit to Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) on Lazio’s current season and its midfield.
If Lazio were not discontinuous, they could be the favorite for fourth place. They have the best midfield in Serie A and have Immobile who scores as he shoots.
From the likes of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic to Luis Alberto, the Biancocelesti’s midfield has had a key role in helping the side turn its season around as of late.
