Lazio, Real Betis & Udinese All Interested In Signing Besiktas’ Tokoz On A Free Transfer

Lazio are interested in signing Besiktas midfielder Dorukhan Tokoz on a free transfer, according to a report from Turkish newspaper Milliyet earlier today.

The report details how the 24-year-old Turkish midfielder is not interested in renewing his contract with Besiktas and is looking around for a new club to move to in the summer transfer window.

Fellow Italians Udinese and Spanish side Real Betis are also both interested in acquiring Tokoz, the report continues, and the possibility of signing him on a free transfer has attracted the attention of Biancocelesti sporting director Igli Tare.

The player would fit as a backup to Brazilian midfielder Lucas Leiva, fitting a similar tactical profile.

Tokoz has made 22 appearances across all competitions so far this season for Besiktas, for a total of 1127 minutes. In that time, he has provided two assists and picked up five yellow cards.
