Strakosha was previously the starting goalkeeper for the Biancocelesti since the 2016/17 season, but has found his spot often occupied this campaign by Spanish veteran Pepe Reina.

He has only made eight appearances across all competitions this season, but is hoping to return in time for the Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.

The 26-year-old Biancocelesti number one is set to return to Italy later this week and is likely to have a meeting with the club’s management to discuss his future and if a contract renewal is on the cards; His current deal expires in 2022.
