Formello: Lazio’s Luis Alberto Returns to Squad Training & Will Start Against Inter

Lazio midfielder Luis Alberto will certainly start against Inter on Sunday night after completing the entirety of squad training today, according to a report from Italian media outlet La Lazio Siamo Noi earlier today.

The report details how the 28-year-old Spaniard, who is contracted to the Biancocelesti until 2025, was absent from yesterday’s training session after taking an extra days’ rest.

Luis Alberto carried out the entirety of today’s training session with the squad and is set to start against the Nerazzurri this weekend.

Danilo Cataldi continued his recovery as well, carrying out some strength training with Stefan Radu.

Jean-Daniel Akpa Akpro, who was absent from yesterday’s session, trained separately today, with his condition being monitored on a day-to-day basis.

Thomas Strakosha and Luiz Felipe were both absent due to their respective injuries, with Francesco Acerbi also missing as he takes an extra days’ rest.
