Lazio is just days away from its massive Serie A clash against Inter Milan. This fixture is not being deemed as a must-win for either side, but both would surely like to come away with a statement win at this point in the league season.

Former Serie A forward Jeda sees that this matchup is much more important and of significance to Inter Milan, especially as the side is once again right there in contention for the Scudetto. And for Lazio, he believes that even a draw result would suffice for the Rome-based side.

Jeda provided his thoughts on this upcoming bout for both sides, with comments being relayed by the Italian-based outlet Cittaceleste.

It’s an important match for both… but perhaps more so for the Nerazzurri. The Milanese are out of other competitions and have to make an extra effort in the league. Conte’s team cannot afford to lose points now; they need to fight to the end for the title because that’s the only goal he has left.

The Biancocelesti could be satisfied with even a draw.

A win for Lazio would not be necessarily be seen as an upset win, but it would go a long way in its quest for a top-four spot in the league table.
