Lazio heads to the San Siro to take on second-place Inter Milan this weekend. The Biancocelesti are currently in fourth place, knocking on the doorsteps of a top three position.

Ahead of their matchup against Inter, the Italian tactician spoke to the media over various topics; the first is what Inzaghi wants to see from his squad as they also prepare for the upcoming UEFA Champions League Round of 16 matchup against FC Bayern Munich.

Tomorrow is a significant match for us. We know we are in good form and we know our opponent well. We will need to play a game with drive, aggression and determination.

Our goal was to reach the Round of 16 in the Champions League, and we have done that. Now we need to focus on securing a top four spot in the league to return to the competition next year.

Inter are a great team, the favorite together with Juve for the title. Milan is doing great things; then there are us with a few other teams. After exiting the Italian Cup, [Inter] will be angry, but we will be ready.

Next, Inzaghi discussed the Lazio squad that will be available and traveling to the San Siro for this crucial fixture against Inter.

We are an excellent team that plays good football. I lost Luiz Felipe and Strakosha, who are essential. We are still waiting to see the conditions of Radu.

Musacchio? I’m happy; he is going beyond expectations. He had stopped for some time; he played 60 ‘with Atalanta and 85’ with Cagliari at his best. He will come in handy.

Luis Alberto? After an emergency operation, he took weeks off, and he was back in record time after ten days. He played very well in Bergamo, a little less with Cagliari, but I can only thank him. He will have a great match this weekend.
