Former Lazio forward Giuseppe Galderisi discussed the Biancocelesti’s tough 3-1 loss to Inter yesterday in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

Inter could do no wrong and they didn’t. They were compact, relying heavily on Lautaro and Lukaku. With Eriksen next to Brozovic the timing of the game increases.

Inter have shown they know how to compress and always play together. Lazio were little seen, while Conte’s team always showed they could be devastating.

He then touched on coach Simone Inzaghi’s decision to start Wesley Hoedt instead of Stefan Radu.

Judging afterwards is too easy, Inzaghi’s choice was well thought out. Lazio tried to play their game, to open it up again, but Inter conceded nothing.

Lazio were not as decisive as on other occasions. Lukaku made the difference.

The Biancocelesti will have to pick themselves up ahead of their next game against 10th place Sampdoria next weekend, the last game before their Champions League clash against Bayern Munich.
