Ex-Inter Defender Paganin: “Lazio’s Patric & Hoedt Were Not up to the Level Required by Starters”

Former Inter defender Antonio Paganin discussed Lazio’s painful 3-1 loss to the Nerazzurri yesterday in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

The merit must be given to Inter. It was time for the strongest team to lead the league. They showed their strength against Lazio and now they arrive at the derby as leaders.

I really liked Lazio last night. Inzaghi also had two absentees at the back. The difference was made by the forwards and defenders. Patric and Hoedt were not up to the starting 11 level.

In midfield Inter combine quantity and quality. Eriksen has changed his attitude, finally. He has found that balance to learn Italian football and that sacrifice that is needed to adapt.

Lazio’s bitter loss to Antonio Conte’s side is their first defeat of 2021, ending a seven game unbeaten run.
