Bayern Munich CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge discussed the upcoming Champions League Round of 16 tie against Lazio whilst speaking to Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport (via LazioNews24) earlier today.
Bayern will not underestimate Lazio. We are the favourites because we’re the reigning champions, but we will certainly not underestimate our opponents.

The Biancocelesti face a tough challenge in next week’s first leg against the Bundesliga giants, who are currently five points clear at the top of the German league table.
Hansi Flick’s side have only lost two league games so far this season, and will be looking to defend their European title starting with this Round of 16 tie against Simone Inzaghi’s Lazio.
The Biancocelesti have been experiencing a period of strong form, but the 3-1 loss to Inter may have shaken the squad a little ahead of the European fixture.
