The report details how the 25-year-old Albanian shot-stopper, who is contracted to the Roman club until 2022, flirted with the German club recently, when he said:
I think Borussia Dortmund are a great club. They have a great young and talented team.
Talks have now started between Dortmund and Strakosha’s entourage, although the Lazio number one is not the only player that the Bundesliga side are following.

Borussia Dortmund are also considering signing 23-year-old Fiorentina shot-stopper Bartłomiej Drągowski, who is tied to the Viola until 2023.
Strakosha, who has been with the Biancocelesti for almost his entire career, has only made eight appearances across all competitions so far this season, suffering from Covid-19, hamstring and knee issues, and struggling to displace Pepe Reina in the starting 11.
