Italian journalist Iacopo Volpi is shedding light on one major issue for Lazio so far this season.

The Biancocelesti has had one rollercoaster season so far. Lazio has had performances in which it played like an emerging contender for the Scudetto. But in other instances, Lazio has had its fair share of disappointing results as well.

Volpi (via Cittaceleste) took note of Lazio’s recent fixture against Inter Milan and sees that depth issues continue to be a notable concern for the team.

Lazio was stopped by Inter at its best. They played at San Siro even playing too offensive. They impressed me. I saw an hour of Acerbi from the left wing, it makes me think that if he had played on Lukaku, maybe it would have gone differently.

Lazio’s only flaw may concern the depth of the squad, especially in defense, but they have important players.

Lazio has had to deal with several injuries to key players over this season. Still, the Biancocelesti continues to show its resilience by picking up much-needed wins in matches where the side is without several key talents due to injury.
