Lazio have begun preparing their defense regarding the Covid-19 testing situation ahead of their case in federal court, according to a report from Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.
The report details how the Biancocelesti are not concerned about any wrongdoing regarding the training session carried out by Ciro Immobile, Lucas Leiva and Thomas Strakosha on the 2nd November.

The Roman club claim, with supporting testimonies, that Dr. Rodia (Lazio’s Medical Liaison Officer) was notified by Synlab that the three players had tested positive at 10:49am, 19 minutes after the training session had already finished.
The Biancocelesti are also calm about their usage of Immobile in the match against Torino that month, the report continues, as they were given the green light by the Local Health Authority RM 1, after Dr. Pulcini informed them that the 30-year-old Italian tested negative on both the 30th and 31st October.
The Avellino Public Prosecutor’s Office is ready to ask for at least four penalty points, which Judge Mastrocola will have to decide on within a month.
The rumored 3-0 forfeits to Juventus and Torino are off the table, as both Turin clubs did not want to be admitted as plaintiffs in the trial.
