Lazio made it known that they were not overlooking UC Sampdoria with their UEFA Champions League Round of 16 tie against FC Bayern Munich on the horizon.

Le Aquile will welcome FC Bayern Munich, the reigning Champions League winner, to the Stadio Olimpico midweek. The Bavarian club comes in as a favourite, but Lazio does have a puncher’s chance.
Ahead of the tie, Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinković-Savić spoke after the win against Sampdoria, where he discussed this week’s match with Sky Sport (via Corriere dello Sport).

On Tuesday we will arrive motivated. After so many years, we are here, facing Europe’s best. Many players are looking forward to the day of the match and to have an outstanding performance.
Lazio will have the chance to do the unthinkable to eliminate the German giant. They have the players and the manager pull this upset; they need to remain focused and give 110% to do so, however.
