Pasquale Foggia spent parts of six seasons as a member of Lazio; however, the 37-year-old went out on loan on three occasions before he eventually departed the Rome-based in 2013.
Nonetheless, the former forward discussed his time with the Biancocelesti in an interview with Corriere dello Sport (via La Lazio News).
Despite only making a handful of appearances for Lazio, Foggia discussed playing at the Stadio Olimpico and in front of 70,000 supporters as his favourite part of playing for the club.
Also, Foggia touched on his experience with Lazio when the 2008-09 squad won the Coppa Italia over Sampdoria.
With Lazio, it was an unforgettable experience. I do not forget the Italian Cup won with 70,000 people at the stadium…
At the end of the interview, the 37-year-old touched on the current squad, which has sporting director Igli Tare at this project’s helm. For Foggia, the 47-year-old is one of the best in that role; furthermore, he added in a joking manner that Tare is better in management than he was as a player.
If I have to indicate a good director, I would say Tare. He’s doing a better job now than when he played as a center-forward!
