Bayern Assistant Coach Klose: “Lazio Have Quality, It’s Obvious, They’re Dangerous”

Bayern Munich assistant coach and former Lazio forward Miroslav Klose discussed tomorrow’s Champions League Round of 16 clash against the Biancocelesti in an interview earlier today, as reported by Italian radio broadcaster Radiosei (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) earlier today.

I saw the games, especially those against Dortmund. Lazio have quality, it’s obvious. They played very well. Dortmund are not easily beaten.

Immobile, Luis Alberto… Correa is also playing well. Milinkovic-Savic is ambidextrous, he can defend the ball well, he has a good shot. They have dangerous weapons.

Finally, Klose responded to the Roma fans who are dreaming of a 7-1 loss for Lazio tomorrow evening.

So, it has to be 6-1 or 7-2? Joking aside, I don’t think the match will be similar to the one between Bayern and Roma. With Lazio’s quality I find it hard to imagine such a result.

Bayern are currently top of the Bundesliga after 22 games, sitting on 49 points, two points ahead of second place RB Leipzig.
