Italian journalist Giacomo Crosa discussed tomorrow’s Champions League fixture between Lazio and Bayern Munich and the state of Serie A after 23 games in an interview with Italian radio broadcaster TMW Radio earlier today.

It’s a strange season. You need the ability to adapt. Whoever does it better will win. I’m convinced that in these conditions many players perform better than their standard.

Some exalt themselves because they have no pressure, others perform less well because they lack pressure.

He then looked ahead to tomorrow’s Champions League Round of 16 first leg clash between the Biancocelesti and Bavarian side.

As for Lazio v Bayern Munich, I think the type of play of the Biancocelesti can create problems for the mechanics of a team as strong as the Bavarians.

Bayern currently sit top of the Bundesliga after 22 games with 49 points, only two ahead of RB Leipzig. They lost their last game against Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 on the weekend.
