Lazio held its own over the opening minutes of its UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg fixture against Bayern Munich. But it all went to waste following a massive error from a Biancocelesti defender.
As Lazio began to distribute possession from its own defensive third, an errant touch from Mateo Musacchio allowed for Bayern’s Lewandowski to retrieve the loose ball and push ahead deep into the penalty box.
As he has done many times in his Champions League career, the Polish striker finished off an effortless attempt to score the opener for Bayern.

This is certainly not the start that Lazio had aimed for as the side is now down 1-0 on aggregate to the reigning Bundesliga champions.
