Following the loss to FC Bayern Munich in the UEFA Champions League Round of 16 first leg, Lazio now looks ahead to a couple of key Serie A fixtures.

Lazio will be taking on Bologna and Torino up next in league play. These fixtures are key for Lazio as the side will not only be deemed as the favorites in both fixtures, but it also needs these pair of wins in order to keep pace in the top-four Serie A race.

Former Italian defender Giancarlo Oddi sees these fixtures as pivotal ones for Lazio. Oddi (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) previewed Lazio’s upcoming two matches.

Torino is in dire straits. They will play to save themselves, but they are in great difficulty. They are a team in disarray, they don’t play at all.

The most difficult match is against Bologna. Scoring 4 points in these two games wouldn’t be a tragedy, but Lazio can get full points.

Lazio surely heads into both matches with the mentality of picking up crucial wins.
