Former Italian goalkeeper Stefano Sorrentino is looking ahead to the upcoming goalkeeper battle between Lazio’s Pepe Reina and Torino’s Salvatore Sirigu.
The two goalkeepers will face off when Lazio and Torino meet tomorrow. They each have had their ups and downs so far over the ongoing campaign. Reina has recorded six clean sheets in league play while Sirigu is at five.
Sorrentino knows just what makes a quality goalkeeper, and he sees that the two have played well so far over the ongoing league season. The former Italian goalkeeper spoke (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) about their successes this season.
They are two very strong goalkeepers who improve every year thanks to their experience and passion. I am happy to see goalkeepers of their level in the Italian championship.
Reina will certainly have to keep busy against Andrea Belotti while Sirigu will aim to keep Ciro Immobile off the scoreboard.
