Italian journalist Stefano De Grandis is not a fan of the events that transpired with the Lazio and Torino fixture.
The two Italian sides were set to face off in a key Serie A fixture on Tuesday, but the match did not transpire as Torino remained in quarantine due to a coronavirus outbreak within the team.
De Grandis (via La Lazio Siamo Noi) does not see that this helps the reputation of Italian football.
We know that in the end, given the previous Juventus and Napoli, the match will be postponed in a long time. This does not give a good image of the championship.
There was talk of playing it tomorrow and I think that would have been a good compromise.
It remains to be seen whether Lazio will keep the disqualification win or if the two sides will go on to have their scheduled fixture at a later date.
