Lazio are interested in signing on-loan Besiktas right-back Valentin Rosier in the upcoming summer transfer window.
According to a report from Turkish media outlet Fotomac earlier today, the Biancocelesti have begun closely following the 24-year-old Frenchman, who is currently on loan at the Turkish side from Portuguese giants Sporting Lisbon.

Tied to Sporting until 2024, Besiktas may sign the player for around €4 million and then sell him onwards for around €6-7 million.
Rosier has made 21 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Turkish side, for a total of 1866 minutes. In that time, he has scored two goals and provided four assists.
The Biancocelesti’s interest in the player is a little surprising, considering that it does not seem clear where Rosier would fit in coach Simone Inzaghi’s tactical system.

The Frenchman features as a right-back and so may be able to play as either a right wing-back or right-sided centre-back in Inzaghi’s 3-5-2 formation.
