Lazio wing back Manuel Lazzari is undergoing medical tests today at the Paideia Clinic to discover the extent of his calf injury.
As seen in a post on the Biancocelesti’s official Twitter account earlier today, the 27-year-old Italian wing back is being tested to understand the seriousness of his calf injury and estimate how long it will be before he’s able to return to the pitch.
Lazzari was pulled off at half time in Lazio’s 2-0 defeat to Bologna on the weekend with the issue, which could be a serious issue requiring weeks of recovery.
The 27-year-old Italian has made 27 appearances across all competitions so far this season for the Biancocelesti, for a total of 2045 minutes. In that time, he has scored one goal and provided five assists.
